Does this count as exercise

Sitting on the couch enjoying my down time, looked up just in time to see a gigantic spider ( seriously, it was HUGE) crawling up the arm of the couch. It was literally 5 inches away from my arm. I jumped and ran freaking out, looking for a shoe, then beat the crap out of it for at least 2 minutes. It took me a good 20 minutes for my heart rate to go back to normal.

That counts for something right?

edit because I can't type

2 min of exercise. I wouldn't count the 20 min of afterburn.

depends on if your activity tracker is on the wrist of the hand you were beating the spider with or not.

It might, but if turning into a psychotic wigging-out freak of nature at the sight of a spider made you lose weight, I would be -150 by now. You should have seen me the night one decided to make its web on my balcony door...the spider killing shoe (oh yes) stays on the balcony & hence was on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SPIDER.

I should have completed my weight loss that night.

    totes counts as sprinting.

I ran to catch the door this morning (okay yogged- about 5 feet) and they go "don't run it's fine"

I was like- oh no- that was my cardio for the week.

I made the same joke just last week when I picked up a beer keg at the local brewery and said that it was my strength training for the month... ;)
