Smoothies?

Hi there. I have a friend who swears by Herbalife, but I'd like to see what kind of smoothies I can make on my own to see if it's something I feel like doing in the long run before making the leap to Herbalife...What sort of vitamin supplements and such should I look for?

I don't supplement; I've recently been doing Green smoothies with 2 cups kale, 1 cup parsley, 1.5 green apples (with skin), and 1 bananna. I prep a bunch of bags at the beginning of the month and freeze, when I feel like a smoothie I take a bag out and blend with 2 cups water and 1 cup orange juice. I haven't seen results yet because it's only been a week, and I only weigh myself once a week, but it's super healthy, and it gives me great energy. It's perfect to eat before exercise, because it's hydrating and filling but not heavy. It's also super cheap!0

I love my morning protein smoothies! Bought a Magic Bullet mixer and use: ice, unsweetened almond milk, flax seed meal (fiber)tablespoon, raw almonds - great protein, healthy fats and crunchy, throw in blueberries or some strawberries. Even sugar free banana powder pudding mix is yummy! I use whatever whey protein powder I have on hand. Whips up in 30 sec and I'm out the door

You can also use Greek yogurt to add protein. Need greens? throw in handful of spinach! Have fun and experiment!

I swear by smoothies. I have a green smoothie every morning and have lost 12 pounds in two months & my skin is literally glowing. They are full of fiber and keep me regular. My daily smoothie consists of
1/4 cup blueberries (highest antioxidant content of fruit)
1/4 cup raspberries (high in fiber and antioxidants)
1/2 banana (really high in fiber and potassium)
2 cups Kale (really important)
1 tsp spirulina (really high in iron and Vitamin A)
1 Tbsp chia seeds (tons of fiber)
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (high in protein and keeps smoothie creamy)
1-2 cups water
1 cup ice
I like using berries because they are really low in sugar. Good luck!0
