Its been 4 months since I started my fitness journey. I have lost 10 kg weight so far. Still have lot of work to do. Just curious to know how much is my body fat %. I have used different online calculators and they all give a different output ranging from 22% to 30+ %.

I am not looking for any immediate results. I believe in slow and steady progress.
Looking at my front picture, please suggest how much time it will take to get those abs based on your fitness experience.

Thank you all for your support so far. MFP has played a very valuable role in my fitness journey :).

showing abs depends purely on your workout program, genetics, and how much muscle you have under your fat ..
if you have years of muscle built, then abs will show up after perhaps 15%..
if you don't work your abs or don't do much heavy lifting, you might not even see them at 11%..

    what's your workout routine?

The best way to calculate body fat % at home would be to use calipers .. You can get them for a few dollars on e-bay.

    Guessing? Perhaps around 20-25%? I wouldn't say 30..

Thanks appreciate your suggestion. My genetics are not very good. Not seen anyone skinny in my family :).

I started weight training 2 months ago and I am doing quite well. Learnt various exercies with the help of a trainer. Been doing 1 hour weight training since then. Not lifting very heavy though learning correct technique. Will increase it slowly.

Also do around 100+ pushuups, 30+ chinups and calisthenics exercises and 30-40 mins of HIIT cardio on a daily basis.
Overall aroun 90-100 mins workout daily.

    Between 20 and 25. Nowhere near 30.
    thanks
