I've been living on 1200 cals a day with a cheat day every Saturday since last October and lost 20Ibs so far but now I'm noticing if I have a little of something, like a biscuit with my tea... but still staying under 2000 a day I put weight on!!
Has my body starting having a sitting rate of 1200? How can I reset it? I thought about having 3 or 4 cheat days in a row then back to 1200? HELP PLEASE!! Xxx

hard to tell - what's your current weight/height/exercise routine?
it could very well be that your calories are too low and your metabolism is slowing down..
do you do cardio? perhaps it needs to be cut down and increase your weight routine..?
if you do a strength/weight lifting program, perhaps it's time to change things up!0 -
Can you run this through one more time...
1) You have been eating at 1200 calories from October until when?
2) What and when is your "cheat day" and you confirm it is only day and roughly under 2000 calories?
3) You know by weighing and measuring your food every day that your calories are accurate?
4) Is there exercise figured into your "eat back calories" in MFP? Or no exercise?
5) How long has this stall been (how many days/weeks)?
If you can provide some additional details we can try to come up with some helpful advice or recommendations...
If its not too personal, if you could provide your height, current weight, activity (no exercise, little exercise or even sedentary).. we can run the numbers to get your "BMR" and recommendations..

I'm 5ft 3, weigh 9st 8Ib at the moment.
My cheat day has been 2500-3000 calories and I've have the odd week where I've been slack but generally been at 1200 a day from October until now. If I have an off week I'll still usually star under 2000 and not eat complete crap but will end up putting 1-2Ibs on. If I'm really rigid with it I'll still lose weight but it seems like if I was to start eating the recommended 2000 now id just put loads of weight back on?
I've not been doing much exercise and I do weigh food like porridge etc.

looking at your pics it doesnt look like you have to lose much. any ways you should really weigh all your food to get a accurate calorie count you may be eating more than you think on some days. and dont forget flucuations and stalls happen to everyone0

Thanks guys, just don't want to try and build my calorie intake back up to just put weight on think I'll try to do some exercise to kickstart it? Annoyed with myself now if I've slowed my metabolism down0

So your weekly calories have been about 10,000 (averages out to 1400 a day)? I would tighten up your weighing, measuring, and logging to get a better idea how much you are really eating. If I understand you correctly, you are more into maintenance than losing now? When you transition into maintenance, it is best to increase your calories slowly to find the correct number for you. Those 1-2lb gains after a cheat day could very easily be water weight from excess sodium, carbs, or alcohol (all of which can cause you to retain water).0

Where are you logging your food?0
