Okay, I've been busy tracking and I still haven't given up my Dr Pepper. I've drank less but my dilemma is that the fast food places vary on the calories posted for their sodas. Does that mean that one is watered down more or the percentage of syrup in their fountain drinks?

Or that the cup sizes are different. Are they listed as sizes (small, medium, large) or weights (oz)? If sizes, then one restaurant's small might be a different amount of soda than the small at another restaurant.

Most chain places like fast food restaurants have calorie info available online for everything, including their drinks, so you should be able to get a more accurate calorie count if you check the website of the place you got your drink from.

I couldn't give up soda either, but I did switch from regular Coke to Coke Zero, so a 500ml glass of soda is now just 3 calories for me, instead of over 200. :) Best move I ever made regarding weight loss, I couldn't believe how many calories I was saving!

A large McDonald's soda is the same volume as a medium Burger King soda, so the sizes vary considerably.

I was comparing 32 oz but I have found that come sell 30 oz. That could make the difference.
