I wanna lift heavy!

I'm super flexible, but weak like a newborn. Seriously, like grocery bags can stress my biceps. It would be AMAAAAZING to be able to lift or press or whathaveyou a glorious and ridiculous amount.

Any good books/vids/programs for someone starting at basically zero on the fit scale? (Oh yea, my knees are crap, if that makes a difference.)
