What is your favorite kind of dance? There are so many different styles many of which can be extremely beneficial to your fitness program. Do some of you use dance as almost your soul exercise, with minor exceptions?
Everything from Tango to Ballet to Jazz to Street Dance to Native American to Breaking to Folk Dance to Trance/Rave Dance to Tap to Two Step and the thousands and thousands of others.
Does your city still have occasional break dance circles with full power moves? How is the street dance scene where you live?
How about the mosh pits? Some cities have shows that are frequent enough you can definitely count it as part of your exercise. One show with two 90 minute back to back performances can get a person to easily burn a ton of calories and of course wake up unable to move depending on how rough the pit is.
