I could use some input

I'm looking for some input/suggestions on which direction I should head. I've been following a powerlifting style of lifting for the last 5 years or so and have a few meets under my belt and all of my goals have been about getting my numbers higher. I've gotten bulky and have had poor mobility/stretching discipline. I don't plan on doing another meet until sometime in the fall and was thinking that now might be a good time to shed some body fat. I don't necessarily want to lose pounds but that could just be the powerlifter in me talking. I'm having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that if I cut back on calories and increase cardio I will lose some strength but at the same time I need a temporary change of sorts.
