Hi all. I just spent a year sitting on my butt gaining weight due to surgeries on my foot. I have been SLOWLY recovering but still can't walk over 2.2 miles without issues. I watch what I eat, which is easy during the day but at night after 8 pm I want to snack on everything in the house. I can resist if I'm home alone by keeping busy, sitting outside (weather permitting) or doing some exercise until the urge passes, but if my family is home I can't resist eating the popcorn, ice cream or whatever it is they are eating.

I know exactly what you mean!! It ain't always easy when relative don't follow the same healthy path either. Because I finish late at night, I don't eat much for diner, which left me often starving around 8-9PM. Feel free to add me if you'd wish so we can make progress together, if not, best of luck with everything!! Just remember, it's a slow process, take it one day a a time0
