Something I learned while losing weight (50lbs)

Greetings All,
I don’t want to share my entire journey but I wanted to share something that I have learned while losing weight. I lost about 50lbs while just watching my calorie intake. I ate at around 1500 calories per day and dropped weight pretty quickly (3 months). What I didn’t realize is that while I lost weight (Fat and Muscle) is that I should have been doing more to maintain my muscle. I’m now in a Stronglifts 5x5 program and regaining some of the strength (muscle) that I have lost throughout my weight loss. While I am not suggesting any type of exercise program; Weight vs. Cardio, for me it was something that I wished I did (or knew about) when I was losing weight.
