Discrepancy between fitbit and MFP

I have been on fitbit and MFP for a week now. I've noticed a discrepancy with the calorie count on fitbit and MFP. For example, I was on my wii fit step this morning for an hour and a half. MFP says right now, that I have 325 calories left, that said I have already logged my daily intake. On my fitbit it says that I have 592 calories left. I log my time into MFP. It just doesn't make sense. What I do go with to lose my weight is the lesser points of the two, but to me it doesn't make sense. Any thoughts?

Fitbit calories can increase or decrease as a day goes on. Most likely it is predicting that you will be fairly active for the rest of the day and thus saying you can eat more. To combat this, go to your "log." On the Food Log page, look for where it says "Food Plan", you should see a little gear, hover your mouse over that and change it to sedentary. This should make it so that Fitbit, will only tell you about calories you have actually earned to eat vs predicting what you might be able to eat.
