I asked for a fitness band for my birthday back in January. In the mail from my husband comes the Runtastic band. It hasn't seemed very accurate from the beginning. My workouts are walking and videos usually. Today I tried it doing yard work. I am dripping sweat and my heart is pounding out of my throat. I have been mowing the yard with one of those old push mowers. Its telling me I have one activity minute for the day. I'm thinking maybe I should shop around for something else. Opinions?

I don't know of a single fitness tracker made to accurately track things like lawn mowing. Fitbits and similar devices track steps. GPS devices track speed/distance. HRMs count heart beats. Everything beyond that is estimation.
