I look at their face, and their dressing (I know it sounds shallow but it's been drilled so thoroughly in my head at fashion school it is difficult to let go of it and I like people who dress smartly)

Personality definitely if it's someone I come into contact with on a daily basis. Like if I ever wanted something to come of a possible relationship. In the case of just by chance passing someone on the street? their eyes would be watch catches me.

I posed the question as if someone caught your eye...what then really attracts you or is a deal breaker?
Like me, I might look at someone quick and think "hey they're not bad" then my pickiness kicks in and I look at different things to "narrow" my search
