Hi. I have been carb/calorie cycling for about two months with good results. I have pcos and could not lose weight on a typical diet. Any way I would typically eat 12 to 1300 on low carb days and on high carb eat 15 to 1600 and on free day 2100. Now I have started p90x and its meal plan is for 1800. I wanted to incorporate my eating plan with p90x. I think 1800 on high carb and 1600 on low carb. I am nervous I will gain. But I am averaging around 1 thousand calories for exercise a day. I don't eat back exercise calories either. I am not sure what net calories means either. I eat 5× a day most days. But this week has not been that great for meals as I don't much feel like eating or making meals. I don't know why but I have made myself to eat my calories I typically eat for that day. So my question is I guess if I am exercising more is rhis 1600 to 1800 a good idea?

if you want to lose weight, you still need to maintain a calorie deficit. how do you know you're averaging 1000 cals for exercise a day?0

Well each workout for that is on average 6 to 800 cal burned perhour. Then I walk very brisk pace about 2 hours so typically its around 1000. I don't have a hrm so they are guesstimate. I have been doing fine with the cals I typically eat but I don't know if I should increase it bc it is more intense higher calories burn. The program says to eat 1800 cal for women. So I don't know I didn't want to undereat.0
