4.3 diet adding more fast days

if i fast monday and tuesday and the thursday and friday will i lose more weight? il be eating around 600 calories and my tdee is 2400. ive been doing the 4.3 diet now for a few weeks.

    If you consume fewer calories overall, you will lose more weight (assuming everything else in your life stays the same). Will that give you enough calories overall though? What will you be eating the other three days of the week?

    im finding it pretty eat fasting 3 days a week so i think il be ok with 4. il be eating around 1600 calories having lean meats and vegetables, with some junk foods.

    Is it something you can keep up indefinitely? If you're doing a fasting program just to lose weight, it may be difficult once you transition to more regular eating habits.

    Your numbers are a bit low. If you are having 4 days at 600 calories and 3 at 1600 you are only getting 7200 a week. At 1200 even every day you will get 8400. I'd eat more on your non-fasting days to ensure your average isn't going under 1200 calories and make sure to avoid heavy exercise on fast days, and to eat back exercise calories on higher days so you don't net too few calories.

    This gives you an average of 1,028 calories per day -- that's super-low. What would your calorie goal for weight loss be if you were not doing 5:2/4:3? You should be shooting for a daily average that is close to that.
