Good morning and happy Monday to all the MFP ers out there. Over the past few weeks I read in some people's posts about Scooby's workshop website. He has some calculators on there to figure out TDEE and BMR. Has anyone had any success using some of the advice on his site.
According to his site, at my current weight of 233, height 5'10 and activity level of desk job, I should be consuming 2035 calories a day broken out into 200 grams protein, 200 grams carb and 45 grams fat. 5 meals a day at 407 calories broken out to 40g protein, 40g carb and 20% fat. According to his calculator this should have me lose 1 pound a week. I've spent a good amount of time logging food on MFP and tracking to see if I could match the macros the calculator is suggesting.
We'll see if it works. And thanks to the people who respond to this topic.
Make it a great day
