I have been drinking the Plexus Pink Drink for about a month and a half. I will say that my cravings for terrible foods and soda disappeared, but something just wasn't clicking in my brain.

I searched for information here on the MFP forums and on the interwebs. Surprise, surprise. The users of MFP were right. It's not a miracle, it's a placebo. Plus, upon further research, I found that it could cause adverse effects with my anti-depressant.

I'm crediting the users of MFP with beginning my journey of eye opening research. I feel stupid for falling for the scam, but at least it was only about a month and a half.

Thank you all. You rock my sweaty gym socks.

Good for you. Don't feel stupid. Most of us have done something similar at some point.

Keep eating at a deficit (yes, even some of that 'terrible' food, if you want it) and it will come off.

I only wish MFP had been around when I was in my 20s. I would not have had my own similar experiences with things that didn't work.

Don't feel stupid. I fell for many in my past. The more I hang out here on the forums and read, the better my journey gets. I also have fun doing it  (i'm so smiley today, i'm annoying myself  )

You kept an open mind and did the research - no need to feel stupid. Dieting can be hard - its human to want to make it easier. Think of it this way - you thought your appetite was suppressed, so it was - however, you now know that you can control it without artificial assistance - as you already have!.

    Good luck!

I think the majority of us have fallen for a weight loss scam or two...or five...in our time. As long as you have taken a lesson from it, then it has not been a complete bust. Now you can move on to improving your health in a smart, conscious manner!

Yes- it's soooo easy to count calories now & it works & it's free!!!

I counted calories back in the 80's the old fashioned way- with a calorie reference book and a notebook! MFP makes it so simple, and therefore sustainable... Good luck on your journey!
