OK, so I have a sweet tooth. I know I am not alone. Rather than try to eliminate desserts, which I know is unsustainable for me, I propose to allow myself (and you, if you accept my challenge) a sweet dessert on Friday and Saturday nights provided that:
1. I stayed within my calorie goal for Sunday to Thursday combined
2. I stay within my calorie goal for Friday and Saturday
3. I have a moderate sized portion of my precious dessert

Last week, my poison of choice was Chocolate Cheesecake. A small 2"x2" square of it satisfied me oh so much.

Add me as a friend if you think you can hack these requirements of the desertaholics group and let's keep each other honest!

I still have some leftover Easter candy (my favorite) so I'll have a little of that almost everyday. Some small chocolate eggs or one big marshmallow egg is usually not too bad calorie-wise.
Also I've been having orange sherbet & cool whip...that is SO amazing. I don't really measure it though so that's probably not good haha. I can't wait til it's Popsicle season.
Tonight I'm trying a recipe I found on here for sweet potato brownies - only 68 cal per serving! Sounds amazing. I could talk about dessert all day long lol.

I have dessert every single evening. Tonight is Strawberry shortcake ;). Granted it is 1/4 the size I normally use to consume, however, that is why I'm losing weight -Smaller portions! Also, I make sure to have fruit and veggies every day. Balance is key!

I love dessert... i feel like my meal is not over until i taste sugar lol. Sometimes i'll have a cup of home made hot cocoa, some type of fruit sorbet, a spoonful of so delicious coconut whip, or a spoon of peanut butter with mini chocolate chips.

I've got a nutella empanada logged and ready to go for tomorrow's desert. :)

Today's sweets were some Trader Joes cookie butter cookies.

I love sweets and I have something every day. I just fit it in my calorie allotment. I've found in the past if I deny myself, I won't keep the weight off. It's one of the reasons I failed before. So, it's been working for me and eating as I do now, it's something I can sustain.
