my name is Tura and i am 2 months post op. Had gastric bypass surgery in February when I finally admitted I needed that extra bit of help. Now before all the groaning starts, this isn't a magic bullet. I still have to watch what I eat and I exercise every day. What the surgery did do is it enabled me to drop down a significant amount of calories and at first, it was drastically low, but now I am at about 1200 calories a day, which is where I want to be at for my ideal weight. Of course, that may need to be tweaked as I become more fit and have more muscle than fat. The great news is all my hard work is finally starting to pay off! I lost 26 lbs before surgery and it took FOREVER. Since my surgery, and through lots of hard work, I am down yet another 40.3 lbs. I am on fire! I want to keep motivated and to help others stay motivated too. I use Fitbit for those who want to add me. https://www.fitbit.com/user/3BHDJG
