Hip joint in agony

Has anybody ever heard of anything like this?
Each morning, after laying all night, my right hip is killing me, but only when I put my weight on it by walking. I limp my way to the kitchen to make coffee, it's very painful. When I sit though the pain is gone, it only hurts while I'm putting weight on it.
Then after about ten minutes, I'm ok again, the pain is gone! But it hurts again after sitting for some time or something, so it seems to hurt more after rest, then seems to loosen up after a bit and stop hurting.
I'm 245lbs and do 40 mins on the bike at the gym, 20 mins walking on treadmill 6 days per week. I had a rest day yesterday and my hip feels worse this morning lol

Time to talk to a dr, sorry. And I would rest in the meantime. Google bursitis and see if it sounds like you are feeling.0

I hope you don't have what I have--OA, osteoarthritis. I'm 60 now, but it started in my late 30's. When you're at rest you're joints become rigid. When I get out of bed in the morning,it hurts all over--especially the joints. After I start moving things loosen up. Damp, cold weather worsens it. I do stretching exercises in the early morning at least 3 times a week and swim + acquagym. I have just started yoga. All of these things help. When I would start a new exercise, I would later get a sharp pain in the joint that was put under stress. Sometimes you just have to take an anti-inflammatory. I try to avoid them--hence all the stretching, exercising etc. If that's what you've got, it's managable, but weight loss and movement are critical. I hope you don't have OA, but statisically an overwhelming number of people do. Best.0

I have some Naproxen here, I may take one after my oatmeal, I'll call the doctor later today. Damn I wish I still lived in England sometimes with the free health care lol0
