Surprised I haven't seen any topics about these recently. What are your personal experiences?

I actually do have one, and will put it on for 30 mins sometimes. Not a religious every day user, but a good few times a week. Now, I'm not silly enough to think they could ever give anyone washboard abs, or magically burn calories by sitting on your *kitten*, and I have read about how they work. I use them in conjunction with calorie counting and exercise. It can just make me feel better sometimes. Anyone else have an opinion?

If it makes you feel awesome, then do it. Hell, I do all sorts of hocus pocus.

Kind agree with this. If it makes you FEEL like you're doing good, then why not.

*Apparently* and as simply as I understand, the reason people think they work is because the electric pulsating can only really reach the very top layer of the muscles in your core, it'll never penetrate to anything other than 'on the surface', so yeah, after using one you might notice a very slight difference in how your stomach looks, but it's certainly never going to last.

How they're *supposed* to work is by electronically stimulating the muscles in your core to contract, effectively creating the same motion a crunch would, all by sitting on the sofa! Magic!
