Heart Rate Monitor Chafing at chest strap

I use the Polar FT4 and the soft chest strap is causing the skin to be rubbed away where the monitor attaches. Does anyone else have a problem with this and how can it be prevented? It hurts!

It may be a bit too loose and the chafing is caused by it moving when you move (a little like shoes that are too big causing blisters). Try tightening it a little bit (a little body glide may help too)0

I really love using a HRM bra. They are pricey, but you just click the monitor onto the bra, without the strap. It is way more comfortable.0
