My weigh in this morning says I lost 2.2 LBS. I put my new weight into MFP and it says I lost 2.2 lbs and have lost 1.4 lbs so far. WTH?? How can I lose 2.2 lbs but only lose 1.4lbs? Also, my ticker didn't change...

Here's a workaround to get your ticker fixed (at the bottom of the post): http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1008172-current-myfitnesspal-web-issues0

Did you recently log a weight gain? The total number of pounds lost comes from what you put in as your initial weight. For example, say you put in 150 as your starting weight. 2 pounds lost (148). Then you gained 3 (151). Then you lost 2 (149), so your total pounds lost would only show as 1lb.0

Did you gain at all and log it before? Even if you lost 2.2 pounds since your last weight in, if you had gained previously then it will show the 1.4 pounds total.
Not sure what is wrong with you ticker. Check the date of the weigh in and make sure it is today's date.0 -

I DID gain but since it was water weight due to a certain time of month I did not log it (as I didnt count it). Last weigh in I put here was 218.8 lbs and then today's weigh in of 216.6. The only thing I can think of is I started this site about 10 mos ago, but quit. Now I'm back on it and going strong but am wondering if previous weights from last time has affected it.0 -
There does seem to be a problem with tickers today. My post may make me look stupid when it is fixed, but right now (or at least so far this morning) my ticker says what it has for the last few days even though I logged another pound lost yesterday. There are a few others reporting it in the support forum.
EDIT - Yep, still off by 1 right now. MFP reporting that 225 - 177 = 47. Should be 48...0 -
I went in and deleted all weigh ins from a year ago so I only have the current ones from starting on MFP to see if that worked. As for the ticker? I did what was suggested in the link someone posted and it still didn't work. Oh well, why fret over a ticker?0

Glad to see that the tickers are broken. Mine is, I don't think it even shows up under my posts.0

It calculates from the "official start weight". If you want to change your starting weight, go to edit previous weigh-ins, and at the top of the screen there's a section that says "start weight". Just edit it and save. It's simple. Your ticker will then fix itself.0
