Phew, it's working. Rest days?

Lost 4 pounds in the last 15 days. Was worried because normally in the past when I've engaged in [crazy low-carb/cut out food group] diets I would lose a TON of water weight at the start but this time it didn't happen, and "old me" was freaking out. Glad I can tell it to sit down and shut up.

I was also do strength 3-4 times a week, because I love it but I think I need to let my body COMPLETELY rest in between strength sessions. I normally take only one or two days off, but three seems to be a good number for me as a novice. How many days do you rest in between strength training? Do you rest, even when you aren't particularly sore?

Now off to do meal plan, shop for food, get some strength training and my 10,000 steps in!
