Hiya! My gym is selling Acai berry as a weight loss aid and I was wondering if it works? I'm 5 ft 3 and weigh 9 stone so I'm not overweight, just looking to shed some fat in order to see abs etc.
I'm weight training in order to improve muscle tone
Thank you in advance

Are you looking to gain or lose weight? You may want to try another forum. This one is for people that are trying to gain weight. Good luck though!0

BTW, I haven't heard anything about Acai as a weight loss aid. Generally, if one wants to lose weight, either eat less or exercise more (without increasing calories)0

It's a fad.0

Total fad, just like green coffee bean, garcinia cambogia, green tea extract, and pretty much anything else that you can buy without a prescription that promises to do anything more than a calorie deficit and some strength training can do.0

Your gym is trying to con you out of your hard earned money0

It is usually mixed with a fair amount of sugar and the sugar could cause weight gain. It does not have any magical properties for weight loss....however I think it does nice things nutritional things for my skin.0

Spent plenty of money on it and ended up gaining weight instead. Total fab.0

All about your calorie intake.
Eat less.0 -
If my gym started peddling that kind of stuff, I'd be looking into finding a new gym
That stuff is BS, sorry.0
