Hi,

I am struggling to lose weight from my belly, just seems to be coming off my sides and legs.

Has anyone got any workouts/programmes that will target the belly more?

u cant spot reduce. unfortunatly the belly can be one of the last to go. but it will eventually. u can of course do ab work but until u get rid of the fat through diet u wont see it

Fork put downs and table push backs are the most effective belly fat reduction workouts

    Eat real food.

Abs are made in the kitchen.

No, abs are revealed through diet and made in the gym. Severe restriction is a good way for most people to begin binge eating and is completely unnecessary for fat loss.

    All food is real food.

Sadly op the body will lose weight from where it feels like it. You can't spot reduce.

    Lord, you guys are picky.

Simply trying to tell OP that you need to get your diet right to reveal your abs. (In the KITCHEN).

Doing ab workouts without losing the fat on top of your abs will simply make your stomach bigger.

When was "severe restriction" ever mentioned??? Never.

Steak, chicken, eggs, fish, veggies, fruits and whole grains doesn't sound like "severe restriction" to me, but to each their own :)

Just keep focusing on fat loss overall. Eventually, you’ll trim there as well.

Jeepers, if I wanted to cause an argument about it, I'd've asked the wife.

    Cheers for the advice though

I'd call labeling foods as "real" or "fake" to be severe restriction. Eat a pop-tart or candy won't keep you from having visible abs. Eating too much food period will.

Ugh, I have this problem, too. My belly starts to slim down a bit only after I've lost my butt and boobs.
If would like to try interval and weight training, but I am injury prone and have some medical issues.
