Inner thighs question !

Hello there, MFPers! I have a question for you today - how can i tone/lose fat off of my inner tights? My inner thighs look very squishy and wobbly and they are very soft and jiggly to the touch, and of course they rub together when i walk, stand, basically all the time.
I have lost around 30 lbs already but there is NO difference whatsoever in my inner thighs, i hate how they look and how they feel!
How do I change that? I run regularly and i use free weights for my upper body muscles.
Any and all suggestions are welcome, please give me your input!

You can't spot reduce. In order to lose fat, you must create a caloric deficit. This is generally done through diet and supported by burning more calories through cardio. You then add in resistance training to keep you weight loss to mostly fat and not LBM. Your inner thigh fat may be the last to go, it mostly comes down to genetics. You can work on the muscle in the area, though. Squats, deadlifts and lunges are all great for the legs.0

I was told to try sumo squats. Have a look on youtube for the correct techniques :flowerforyou:0

Running is great for burning calories, but you need to do resistance training on your bottom half, not just upper body. Look for leg and thigh workouts. Build some muscle and tone those inner thighs!0

Why thank you for the swift replies! I am by no means trying to stop reduce! In fact - i am focused on getting my body fat to a lower percentage and to achieve an overall higher fitness level! I expected that my thigh fat would be less by now, but its the same as the day i first started, so obviously i am not doing all the correct exercises concerning this area of the body.
I will check out the sumo squats, thanks@0 -
Are there any resistance exercises i could do at home? I am a bit self conscious to join a gym and work out there.0

Your best bet is to undergo a comprehensive fitness program. As you build muscle in the areas where you want muscle, then you'll reduce in other areas. I've been frustrated with my belly area and I do some exercises to improve muscle tone underneath, but there is still a layer of fat that I can't get rid of. But if I compare my belly to what it looked like months ago, there is a definite improvement. I think this is mainly due to building up my shoulders/chest muscles, which still need a lot more work!
There are lots of exercises you can do at home. I do more than this 7-minute cycle, but it's a good place to start!

Once you have mastered this you can start looking for other exercises to add, or just repeat the whole workout several times.0 -

The thing about Leg fat is it stays jiggly forever and then you suddenly don't have it anymore.0
