Are you logging accurately (weighing solids, measuring liquids)?0

Your body needs energy to run properly. Failing to nourish yourself adequately will impact your energy and your mood and it could cause significant health problems if continued too long.
If you are truly only eating around 1,000 calories (and you aren't under-logging by accident), you should add some calorie dense foods to your diet. Presumably you were eating more than 1,600 before (if you are here to lose weight). Have you cut too many foods from your diet?

You may not have to eat "loads more," you could just add some more calorie dense foods to your diet. What are you eating now?0 -

If you're not hungry or tired or attempting to kill people, keep it where it is! You'll definitely lose weight faster. But the minute you find yourself out of keel, start eating.-1 -
It will even out soon. You are actively watching what you eat. If you're like I was when I started, it will go away very soon. Lol you'll start to feel more hungry. Your body is just getting used to eating less food.0

You can add more calorie dense foods to your diet to boost your calories without having to eat much extra food.

Eating a very low calorie diet (which 1,000 calories is) will result in weight loss. Unfortunately, a lot of that weight lost will be from your muscles. This might leave you unhappy with your results (a smaller body, but with more fat proportionally) and a lower overall metabolism (muscle mass takes more calories to maintain).

It's not just about weight loss. It's about your health.0

The point is avoiding muscle loss, fatigue, and the risk of malnourishment. If you don't find those persuasive, then you don't and I doubt anyone will be able to convince you otherwise. People risk their health every day. If you choose to do so, you're an adult.
If your body is burning muscle instead of fat due to excessive calorie deficit, a DVD will not reverse that process.
Again, nobody is telling you to eat when you are not hungry. You could likely eat a safe number of calories just by making a few simple changes.0 -

Keep in mind that hunger isn't always the best indicator that you're getting enough to eat. The hormones that control our hunger signals can be knocked out of whack by too many things, including things like exercise, stress, and periods of undereating. It also doesn't tell you if you're getting enough of your micronutrients (things like calcium, iron, etc) which can become problematic later on. You have to look at things like energy levels, mood, healthy skin & nails, gym performance, etc.
A day here and there way below your calorie goals is usually fine. And as others have said, usually your hunger or energy levels will catch up with you and you'll start eating more. But just keep in mind that you can't equate lack of hunger with getting enough nutrition.

^Exactly this. The whole point of including more calorie dense foods into your diet is so that you get more calories in during those times when you are hungry.0 -

I don't eat when I'm not hungry, either. I'm eating around 1200 very healthy (veggies and protein mostly), and exercising and am also not hungry most days. Sometimes I struggle to get to 1000, other times I'm hungrier and eat closer to 1500. I have a lot more energy now than before, when I was gaining, eating more, and not exercising.
It's only been a week- you will likely regulate and start eating more because you'll be hungry or start feeling fatigued. Just make sure you listen carefully to any signs of fatigue or hunger, and that you're meeting your nutritional needs... Good luck!0 -
Thank you:) obviously if im hungry or its getting to me i will eat more.. Im not gonna put myself at risk of passing out or anything.. Im suprised at how much energy and how much better i feel since i have been dieting0
