Newbie needing help

hey everyone!
I'm a total newbie to this app so I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing, I just know that I've been in a happy relationship for a year now and, and I'm sure many people can relate, it has meant one two many meals out and Saturday night takeaways.
I really really feel motivated to have a proper go at shifting a few pounds, but my willpower usually fails me. Especially my sweet tooth. Any tips? I would be grateful.
