exercise and food question

What is the best food to eat before a trip to the ymca for a workout? Yesterday i got faint during a cycling class and the instructor said it was because i didnt eat before.

    I usually like to have a piece of fruit (apple or banana), maybe a handful of almonds, or a Greek yogurt. Usually those things set well with me and don't feel heavy while I workout. You may need to try some different foods to see what works for you.
