Hi, I am a 54 year old women, 5'10, 195lb. I have MFP set to lose 1.5lb a week, which gives me 1220 calories. I walk at least 10,000 steps a day and eat back the calories that fitbit gives me. For the last 5 weeks my weight has stayed the same, and it's really getting me down. Any ideas at all please as to where I am going wrong. Thanks in advance.

Penny, are you using a food scale and weighing and logging everything? My $10 food scale was the best investment I've EVER made.

I only eat back 1/3-1/2 of what my fitbit gives me to be on the safe side. Also, are you weighing your food.

You can always try eating 1-200 calories less for a few weeks to see if that works.

Penny, try a less aggressive weight loss goal. I am 5ft3, currently weigh 157 and lose 1lb a week eating 1480 a day. You must be starving on so little calories :(

If your logging is accurate, then it must be something else as you should be losing at that calorie level. How many calories are you logging for walking (and time and speed of your walks?)

Have you had your thyroid checked?

Logic would dictate that if you are doing the weighing and logging accurately, then the other area to look at would be your fitbit calories, veayse not losing weight for 5 weeks indicates you being at maintenance rather than deficit. So what Jennifer said. If you want more specific advice then opening your diary would be helpful.
