New Life!

Hi Everyone,
I'm new and really excited to start this program. I have always been morbidly obese all my life but it got particularly bad in the last 10-15 years. When I was in high school I was probably 50-60 lbs. over weight. I went on a dexitrim/starvation diet and lost 50 lbs. in about 2 months in my senior year. The lightest I have ever been was 115 lbs. Then I met my husband after I graduated and things went downhill. I started gaining back all the weight I had lost and everytime I tried to make a change and get back to healthy eating I failed. I loved to eat! Even when I'm not hungry. And my husband was not helping. Fast foward...now I'm a divorce single parent of 4 small kids who mean the world to me. I worry about my health because they will be no one if something happens to me. So now I am taking this step to a better health and a longer life for me and my kids.
And as a form of encouragement I have decided to blog my journey, so be looking out for that if you are interested. This will be a life and style makeover series. I feel that if I am accountable for my actions and I know that people are following me, it will encouraged me to succeed on the change.
Fingers cross and good luck to everyone one on this journey for a bette life.
