how much do you have to lose total. how many calories are you eating a day. are you weighing everything? tracking everything? are you exercising? how much?0

Five pounds a month? Sounds pretty good, actually.0

That is still 5lbs/month! Not too shabby. Increasing your calorie deficit will probably bring about faster results. I've probably only lost 20 lbs since October, so I need to take some of my own advice.0

It's happening, though! Slow and steady, because changing to healthy eating isn't a sprint, it's a marathon! ☺0

I need to lose about 100 ,so it seems really slow to me ! Just seeing Janejellyroll post that 5 pounds a month sounds pretty good , made my day ! Thank you for the pep talk ,all of you , it really helps! I have been on My Fitness Pal for about a year and never joined in the discussion board , but saw how much it was helping my friend and so glad I did0

She's absolutely correct. 1.25 pounds per week is a nice healthy pace, I wouldn't be bummed about that at all.

You are thirty pounds smaller than you were in October! This is a huge victory. You should be proud.0 -
If you keep up that kind of loss a month you'll lose 60lbs, even if its 50lbs, thats half of what you want to lose. I lost 52 in a year, so definitely doable at that pace. Do you have a food scale, the month I got my scale I lost 9lbs that month. Good luck on your journey.0

Because I have body inflammation issues due to past inflammatory bowel disease, it took me a year to lose 45 pounds so yes, you are doing great!0
