Protein Shakes

I have a friend who is looking to supplement some of her protein through shakes, but she is sensitive to soy. Does anyone have a good whey protein they use that doesn't contain soy (or has very small quantities)?

Skinny Gut has shakes that only have trace amounts of soy due to fermentation ingredients. 140 calories, 20 g of protein. They taste good too. I have only tried them out as I am not a spender on these kinds of things unless I know I will stick to it, but if I were to spend the dough it would be on these....

If she's blending them, an alternative to protein powder could be cottage cheese. You really don't taste it after it's blended with other ingredients and skim milk cottage cheese has 14 g protein per 80 calories, so a pretty good amount. My kids drank smoothies this morning made with bananas, cottage cheese, milk, spinach and cocoa powder and loved them.

I am unaware of any "whey" protein powders containing soy. If they did, they would, I assume, be considered a weird blended product as even normal blended products will only contain whey, egg white, and casein protein. I like Optimum Nutrition and Trutein myself.
