I am bulking and ate 1800 over maintenance

I am doing a clean bulk and I ate 1800 calories of cookies and ate over everything. My clean bulk is at 2500 calories. So I ate 4300 calories today. What I do now? Do I keep eating at a surplus? My body fat percentage is high because I'm skinny fat and I'm trying not to gain at an alarming rate.

I'd kill it in the gym tomorrow using all that extra energy and move on. It probably won't affect you in any way.

I'm not sure if you just mean today, if you feel good or are distressed?

I'd say.. If you've over eaten today, don't stress. Eat more later if you are hungry - as in, actually hungry, not just feeling like you need to eat more. Put the extra energy in your system today and tomorrow to good use, be productive. But then upward and onward with life- don't let a few extra cookies, on one day of your life, be the defining factor of your day/mental space.

Clean bulk? A clean bulk would mean that since your intake right now is 2500 then you maintenance is 2200-2300.

    I was wondering this, too.

Hit the gym hard and don't sweat it. One day doesn't mean anything.

When you say clean bulk what do you mean?

    250-300 over maintenance

I've been doing 2 lifting sessions a few days this week for about 2 hours long. I was just really hungry and just ate the whole carton of cookies.

Ok. I misread your initial post. Thought you were talking about something else.

Like Dope said, work it off tomorrow.

It's one day. Let it go and get back on the mild surplus train.
