shark week cravings

I'm looking for suggestions on how to control cravings during that "time of the month". I'm not having cravings for sweets, I just get uncontrollably (what it feels like anyways) hungry for the first 3 days.

    Make sure you're getting a lot of protein and fats, as they keep you sated longer. Plus, try not to over restrict yourself, as it makes you hungrier.

    Thanks! I've been trying to increase my amounts of protein to help with hunger and it has been helping. But you have a good point about the restrictions because when I do that and its time to eat, I eat more than I really needed/wanted. I've put a lot of work/time/research/effort/changes into eating right but it always seems when this time of month rolls around I get the feeling I'm taking one step backwards.
