How to stop binge eating?

This is something I have been struggling with the most. It's weird because for breakfast lunch and snack I am very good about portion control. I think due to the fact that I am at work and in a more time controlled environment. But when I get home from work (around 4:30pm on a non gym day and 6:30p on gym days) it's likes all my control is gone. I have found that the days I workout ( I workout out every other day) I don't tend to binge but the days I don't work out.... It's total bloody madness. It is so psychological I know but I just have not found away to conquer my mind yet.

How do I get over the need to binge on non workout days? Maybe I need more of a routine on those days... Idk. I have tried eating a snack before I leave work and then have dinner around 6:30-7ish. I have tried eating dinner early. I have tried saving some calories for a snack before bed and nothing stops my subconscious. Any tips?
