Well, in almost 2 months of consistently doing Stronglifts 5x5, and diligently tracking my calories, making sure I get enough every day, I've put on 11 pounds. The funny part about that is I can't tell! I went from 137 pounds to 148. I'm squatting and deadlifting 200 pounds, all my other main lifts are going up consistently....and I look at myself in the mirror and can't tell a difference! So question: I realize my goals are likely completely different than yours, and I'm NOT trying to put off people trying lose weight, I can't imagine how difficult that is. I just can't wrap my head around how everything that I can physically measure is moving up, but my eyes tell me everything is the same. Does anyone else struggle with this? How do you gauge YOUR progress?

People losing weight often can't see their progress either. I go by photos, measurements and Skinfolds to assess progress in either direction0
