Basic question on setting up my calories

So I am now in the bracket of having less than 30 pounds to goal.. YAY! But now I set up to lose 1 pound a week. Should I now since I have 25 or so pounds to go to .5 pounds a week?

    You may find that those last 30 lbs become progressively harder, since the smaller you are, the less your body uses on a daily basis. Many thin people find that their loss of 5-10 lbs is easily as difficult as the loss of 50 to someone who has maybe 100 or more to lose.

    I would say keep at whatever has been working for you. When you are in maintenance, then back it off slowly to be sure your weight loss sticks.

    I think that's why I want to gradually go to maintenance. I'm set at about 2000 cals now. I burn oh about 500-600 daily. I should be fine still.
