water retention, maybe?

It could be water retention, and possibly due to high sodium intake, or possibly a supplement you're taking. All in time, if you focus too much on the scale and pants size, it'll seem as if progress is out of reach. Make sure your sodium intake is low and drink tons of water followed by some *kitten* kicking cardio.
