40+ Insanity Review

I need to change my workouts and I'm not sure where to go next. I see various posts from people doing the Insanity Workouts. I'm interested in hearing your reviews of the videos, especially from the over 40 crowd. Thanx!

Well, I gave it a shot - at the beginning they have the standard disclaimer except it specifically says not to do it if you have knee, back or shoulder problems. For me it's check, check and check. And I found out they were right. Other than that, I thought it was a great challenge. I couldn't get halfway through it when I started so I would have really liked to push all the way through, just not at the expense of my joints or spine. It's just straight plyometric cardio, each exercise done for 60 seconds then right on to the next. Amazing calorie burner and if you are looking for cardio improvement you will definitely get that.
