Well heres what I like for low cal snacks...
-Fruit (apples, pineapple, grapes, berries, mango is typical for me)
    -Steamed veggies (favorite is asparagus)
-Diet pop (favorite is the crush orange, grape, cream soda)

If I am desperate for something other than that I usually go for:
    -Rice cakes/light rice crisps
    -plain popcorn or lightly buttered/salt
-'walden farm' chocolate syrup with fruit or something like that. I find it is okay but I know its probably not good for you or tastes as good since its 0 cal so beware lol
-low cal almond milk (chocolate/vanilla) plain or in a milk shake
-salad with a light dressing or a homemade one (lots of low calorie recipes online)
-homemade baked goods with low cal sugar and low fat is always a special treat...

My favorite of all time would be raw brownies (homemade). They may not be low calorie but they are very healthy and delicious. Basically just use a food processor to blend dates (pit removed), walnuts, coconut shreds, liquid sweetener, cocoa powder, and optional peanut butter. Once that's done all you do flatten it into a brownie pan and let it sit in the fridge for a while. They taste amazing in my opinion!! :)

I'm also usually at a bit of a loss to make my snacks more varied...you guys have great ideas!

My 'go to's depend on the day.

If I'm on a low carb, then I'll usually do some kind of cheese (any kind, yum!) by itself or wrapped with deli-meat of some kind, nuts, hummus with carrots and cucumbers or just plain veggies or cottage cheese.

If it's a higher carb day, I'll do whole grain crackers with cheese, plain or vanilla greek yogurt with some granola and fruit, strawberries, blue corn tortilla chips with salsa, air popped popcorn with only a little bit of butter or a couple of Lifestyle cookies (they are so good!).

I love - 1 cup of frozen blueberries (place in a bowl) add about 3 tablespoons of skim milk and mix add a small packet of sugar substitute or raw sugar and mix. It is like a quick fresh low calorie ice cream.

American Lasagne: Red, White and Chocolate!

Fat free whipped topping, one small shot in bottom of a bowl.
Top with half of a package of Oreo Crisps (100 calorie pack)
Another small shot of whipped topping on top of the cookies.
Push the rest of the Oreo Crisps into the topping.
1/4 cup sliced strawberries on top of all that.

Wait 1/2 hour (if you can....:)

Add one last shot of topping or a drizzle of sugar free chocolate syrup. Sing the Star Spangled Banner. Dive in!

About 150 calories, made in the USA. ;)

I found this recipe on FaceBook. I call them Banana Oatmeal Bars, and they have 47 calories per serving.
    Ingredients:
3 mashed bananas (I used a sandwich bag)
    1/3 cup apple sauce
    2 cups oats
    1/4 cup almond milk
    1/2 cup raisins (optional)
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
Pat into pan and bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes.

Yum! And you can have 2 and still be below 100 calories!

Okay...here is my go to snack....

Take one large container of cottage cheese (fat-free) and mix with any flavor jello-o packet (I love cherry!!). Then fold-in half container of fat-free cool whip. Add any type of fruit and sit overnight! Can we say "HEAVENLY"?? :smokin:

I also love almonds, baby-bell cheese, fiber-one bars, and laughing cow products!

    Yum! Must try this!

Here are some of my under 100 calorie snacks:

    - baby carrots and reduced guilt guacamole from Trader Joes
    - string cheese
    - one piece of whole wheat or sprouted bread, toasted and topped with sliced cucumber and 1 tsp of spicy brown or dijon mustard
    - laughing cow low-calorie wedges
    - 1 T of dark chocolate peanut butter from Peanut Butter & Co
    - half a serving of Chipins (love the white cheddar flavor, and 14 chips is 60 cals!)

I also keep 90 cal bars on me at all times, just in case I get hungry. Right now I really like Special K's pretzel dark chocolate bar. So good!

Stew up store in fridge. mix with either, yogurt, cottage cheese, porridge or as it is. If you add alot of cinnamon it really comes out in the mixtures you add it to same with the cocoa powder

Wow i was reading some of the other replies on snacks, i snack a big part of my day in between meals and i also look for low calorie snacks myself. i have found if you have a dollar tree store near by where EVERYTHING is a dollar that is the place to go for your low calorie snacks without spending a large amount of money as if you went to a supermarket. i also eat snack pack puddings under 100 calories. animal crackers, vegetable crackers, they have these cookie packs made with fudge striped cookies, or regular cookie packs that are 100 calories also. Jelly bellies are the bomb only at 4 calories for each jelly belly. i also buy my chips there they are called right bites you can eat 22 of these small chips for only 140 calories, i also purchase my chunky salsa there its delicious. so many snacks to choose from at dollar tree, so if you have one nearby go and stock up.
  • I LOVE the new Kellogg's Special K® Chocolatey Caramel Pastry Crisps, they are only 100 calories for 2 crisps, and they are perfect for a sweet snack!!

I might be the only person I know who LOVES tofu but about 100g or say half a cup cubed and a miso soup on the side and I'm still coming in under 100 cals. Plenty of protein to keep me full, it's practically a mini meal!

You could chow down on 2 cups of steamed broccoli and it's still around 100cals. Same goes for roasted veggies so long as you're roasting the right ones: Squash, onions, tomatoes, zucchini/courgette, eggplant/aubergine etc. I've found I don't even need any oil for these and they're still so so good!

For protein a half cup of beans. I usually dry fry to make them warm and a little mushy, plenty of lemon and maybe mixed herbs and that will keep me going a while... around 100cals again!

I think on the whole I try to go for unprocessed and fresh as possible, I find I can usually get more bang for my buck in terms of volume of food I can eat. When I compare 100cals of say cookies vs 100 cals of watermelon I know what's going to keep me going for longer.
