    Log everything. Buy a set of food scales and weigh everything to the gram.

    Also a big key IMO is to be completely honest with yourself. Own up to splurges and binges and do your best to correct them in the end. :)

    Make sure to exercise too, it doesn't have to be anything crazy - even walking helps.

    Thanks for all the advise. the best quote I have heard as far as exercise is" if it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you"!

    I started a week ago. So far so good. I find that walking at least an hour a day helps

    I've been on this diet 3 days now. I'm very new also, but tracking the food I eat helps me so much to want to stay focused. It's the weekend, usually I'd be cheating on any other diet plan. Today, I'm not cheating. That's a big thumbs up for me lol.
