One day won't make or break you, m'dear! It didn't come on in one, and it it won't come off in one. The trick is to not let that one day become 2 or 3!

As a wise person once said "If you were driving along and got a flat, would you get out and slash the other 3 tires, or would you change it and keep going?". That's gotten me through a LOT of "Oh, I've already stuffed up, i may as well keep going..." moments.

It also helps to remember that going over your goal is one thing, but going over maintenance is what would possibly make you gain, and there's usually a lot of lee-way :)

    You'll be right!

Its probably not the first time in your life for you to forget your dinner is it? Be honest with yourself. Everyone has done it in the past. It happens, a normal fact of life. Over the last week I haven't been eating at my normal times because it of one thing or another. I skipped lunch without knowing it but I made sure I eat something when I realised. Still my weight is down. Don't eat yourself up about it too much.
Set a reminder on your mobile phone for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you feel you will forget again. Find someone to hold you accountable for your actions. If your shoe lace opens do you open the other shoe lace and walk with both open? No you stop, tie it again and move on.

    What a great analogy!
