Scared to lower my calories...

I've recently been in recovery after having a binge eating disorder, and although I now have a healthier outlook on food, and I binge rarely, I've only been able to manage eating at my maintenance, and no lower. I'm glad I've managed to cut out the binging, but I'm scared to lower my calories in case it sparks off the binge-restrict cycle again. I already exercise daily, so I can't make more of a deficit that way - does anyone have any good ideas on how I can lower my calories without sending myself back into the cycle? Any small, unnoticeable changes I can make to create the deficit I need? I have about 30lbs to lose.
Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

I'm not a doctor, don't play one on TV, and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but protein and fat are pretty satiating. Maybe cutting calories a little at a time while eating a (relative) lot of protein and fat can make you feel satisfied enough not to trigger as many binges, while still eating at a deficit.0

Given the circumstances, this is a discussion you should have with a professional ... not with random people on the internet.-1

I agree you should talk to your doctor and maybe a dietician. I binge but I have also cut back. When I started I lowered my calories very slowly. I think I lowered by 50, than another 50 until I was comfortable.0
