Hi everyone, I am 4 1/2 years post gastric bypass and I recently gained 10 pounds. I visited my nutritionist and she recommended a 1200 calorie diet with LOTS of protein, and walking 30 minutes per day. I used Myplate before, but am trying this site and it seems to fit my needs. Good luck to you all. Jo Anne

Isn't it great to make it back on track when only gaining back 10? That's my ultimate goal...to be one of those people who gets their act together when they are only up 5 or 10 lbs...this time I was up 30 before I restarted! Welcome to MFP!0

Hi and thanks for the support. I really misspoke about the 10 pounds. That is just a recent gain. I was actually up 30 also from my lowest. But I am now down 7 pounds the first week back on track. I find that logging my food and planning my meals for the day is the best way for me. We are what we eat!0
