Beginner to Weightlifting

Any body have a good weightlifting program for a beginner? I just need a starting point and basic beginner workout.

    ICF - Level Beginner. 2 months in and love it.

    Read "Starting Strength", by Mark Rippetoe. This will show you good form on the core lifts. Then do Stronglifts 5x5. Ice Cream Fitness, mentioned above, is Stronglifts with a some accessory lifts tacked on.

    5/3/1 is better served for an intermediate weight lifter.

    Definitely read Starting Strength, regardless of what you do.

    What's your goal?

    There's also all-pros simple beginner routine. Google it.

    Agree with the bold

    I started with SL did it for a year switched to 5/3/1

    and Strong lift is good for a beginner or new rules of lifting or Starting strength...
