I did. I don't use scales at all. Call it a youth trauma, I will not get on them.

I use my clothes and other goals. My first NSV goal was to walk a multi day hike, which I did last summer (Great Glen Way Walk in Scotland) and then to fit into a skirt that I made nearly 10 years ago and even then was very snug. I wore it for the first time in 9 years last Monday to work.
At the moment it is reaching 500 days of logging on MFP with a general deficit (just 24 days to go) and get back into aquarobics and swimming (planned for next wednesday)
For me it works this way as it allows me to re-adjust my goals while I am going without having a goal that, for me, seems unreachable and with the scales needed.

There is a NSV goal in the back of my mind that I would love to reach, but am afriad I never will. When I was a in my late teens, early twenties I had a waist of 61 cm, it is now 66 (I am very much an hourglass) In a perfect world I'd reach that.
