Fitbit flex not making calorie adjustments.

I've been using pacer to track steps and adjust my calorie goal. I decided to invest in a Fitbit, and started using it yesterday. I walked quite far yesterday and pacer would have credited me with a few hundred calories but the Fitbit is synced and showing what I did on MFP but no calories have been credited?
Is something wrong? Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
