Hypoglycemic and sugar cravings

i am currently going through a very stressful time right now. I find myself many times lately having very strong cravings for and eating chocolate cake. I know that this is really bad for me because I am hypoglycemic. What is recommended for me at these very stressful times and these very strong chocolate cravings?

    First, try another activity like going for a walk, playing an instrument, listening to music, or calling a friend. If that doesn't work and you are actually hungry, try some fruit, veggies, nuts, or a whole grain snack. If that doesn't work, try a piece of dark chocolate, letting it melt in your mouth. If that doesn't help, have a small piece of what you crave, logging it in MFP.
